The AI that calls restaurants · first-order-london.netlify.app
No critics. No crowds. No algorithms. A voice agent calls each kitchen and asks one question: if someone is coming in for the first time, what is the one dish they have to order? The answers are below.
First Order is a voice AI that calls London restaurants and asks the person who answers a single question. It records the dish, the quote, and the moment. The dish name is the review. Every recommendation on this page came from the kitchen, not a critic.
A handful of the most memorable answers, including the night a restaurant owner tried to order a glass of wine from our AI.
"Can you bring me a Primitivo or something stronger?" Alice replied: "I'm here to help with food recommendations, but I can't assist with orders."
"A Misha Picante Pizza." Done.
"Lahori chicken." One word. Perfect.
"The steak frites." Classic French. No hesitation.
Navigated past the IVR, got through to a human: "You can order biryani." The name says it all.
Each card is one real phone call to one London restaurant. The featured pick spans the row. Tap any audio player to hear the actual call.
Each marker is a verified call. The dataset grows every weekend.
Every restaurant guide tells you where to eat. None tell you what to order when you get there. Critics share their opinion. Crowds average theirs out. Algorithms guess.
So we asked the restaurant itself. An AI voice agent calls each venue and asks one simple question: if someone is coming in for the first time, what is the one dish they have to order?
One question. One dish. Every recommendation on this page comes from the people who make the food. The dish name is the review.
